The next SBEd & Breakfast is Thursday, April 11, at 8:30 a.m.

This month’s SBEd & Breakfast offers a rare and valuable opportunity for Nebraska researchers in the social, behavioral and education sciences to hear firsthand from district/agency administrators.

A panel of educational stakeholders from around the state will share their perspectives and experiences on how to effectively recruit and partner with schools and agencies.

“Recruiting and Partnering with Schools and Agencies: Perspectives from the Field” will be 8:30 to 9:30 a.m. April 11 at the Prem S. Paul Research Center at Whittier School, 2200 Vine St., in Room 152.

Guest panelists will include:

· Leslie Eastman, director of assessment and evaluation, Lincoln Public Schools

· Deb Ross, executive director of Head Start, Child & Family Development Program, Inc., Hastings

· Caroline Winchester, superintendent, Chadron Public Schools

Susan Sheridan, CYFS director, will moderate the conversation.

Panelists will address the following questions and more:

· What are your top considerations when deciding on whether to partner with potential research collaborators?

· What are some of the biggest mistakes researchers make when approaching you for permission to conduct research in your agency?

SBEd & Breakfast is open to all researchers in the social, behavioral and education sciences. Faculty are encouraged to bring a research colleague with interest in this area.

Light breakfast foods and coffee will be provided.

Advance registration is encouraged but not required: https://conta.cc/2K4CwKx
