Nick Pace, professor and chairperson of Educational Administration, recently presented the first Principal's Designee Training with Bayard Superintendent and UNL Alum, Dr. Travis Miller. The training was designed to provide important background information for teachers who are designated to stand in for the principal when the principal is out of the building. The training includes more familiarity with policies and procedures in the school handbook, important tips, suggestions, and strategies. There are three key areas focused on during the training: school law, essential communication strategies, and practicing what they've learned.

Upon completion of follow up assignments, participants are given a certificate.
