Project Verification Statements (PVS)

Beginning in January, PARs are being replaced with Project Verification Statements (PVS), which is a project-based methodology, rather than the employee-based methodology of PARs. PVS is an electronic system, no more scanned or paper PARs!

The benefit of the new system is that instead of one report being generated for each employee three times a year, one report will be generated for each project, listing all employees assigned to that project, and verification statements will only be generated annually on the anniversary of the project start date. The combined effect of this new methodology and timing will reduce the administrative burden to the faculty and departmental support.

The Office of Sponsored Programs will be offering training specific to your role in the process as Principle Investigators. For specific training dates and links to sign up, visit https://mailchi.mp/02cd4b450ed8/pvs.

Class size is limited so please register early.
