In honor of the 150th anniversary of UNL, the university has declared Thursday, February 14th as Glow Big Red day, where Huskers from around the world will show their Husker pride. While this day is one of celebration of the Universities progress, it should also serve as a reaffirmation of the values that Huskers hold. With this in mind, the Glow Big Red Civic Challenge will also be held the 14th. This event gives Huskers the opportunity to serve the families of active or former military members by writing fun and encouraging letters that show our support to America's soldiers. While it is a simple gesture, it will make a world of difference to a child!
Notes will be available on February 14 in the Nebraska Union from 12 p.m. to 2 p.m. and the Nebraska East Union from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m.
