After serving as a managing director of Husker Venture Fund and graduating in 2023, Samuel DeZube began his journey as a business operations analyst at Workshop, a fast-growing internal communications startup headquartered in Omaha. Recently, he assumed a new role as chief of staff.

"The Center for Entrepreneurship and the broader entrepreneurial community at Nebraska were pivotal in my development and growth. The Husker Venture Fund, in particular, provided hands-on venture capital experience and connected me with the Nebraska Angels, where I served as an investment intern and became even more connected in the ecosystem. I also gained valuable insight from courses like Investment Principles with Dr. Geoffrey Friesen, which broadened my understanding of finance and markets. Without the Center for Entrepreneurship, I would have never gotten the kickstart into the broader startup community, and likely wouldn't be where I am today," said DeZube.

In his role at Workshop, Samuel collaborates closely with the leadership team to drive strategics initiatives that are essential for the growth of a startup. By managing various projects, overseeing financial and data efforts, and leading the annual planning process, he navigates that challenges of the dynamic tech landscape.
