The 48-Hour Challenge gives you the opportunity to learn the basics of entrepreneurship, develop an early-stage idea, connect with experts and contribute your unique skills. Register by noon on Tuesday, February 11!

You have the opportunity to develop an idea of your own or contribute your unique skills to the development of another participant's idea. Along with faculty and staff, you and your peers will be accompanied by area entrepreneurs and innovators throughout the weekend. They'll be available to help you work through every part of the business plan development process.

Throughout the weekend, you will strengthen your entrepreneurial muscles by innovating, problem-solving, adapting, and working as a team – all skills in high demand no matter what career you are preparing for. The 48-Hour Challenge is an amazing experience to add to a resumé, CV or portfolio.

After forty-eight hours of immersive teamwork, learning sessions, discovery, and more, you'll have an actionable business plan that is ready to take to market.

You may choose to participate in one of two ways: (1) Enroll in ENTR 325 (Building Entrepreneurial Teams and Testing Ideas), a one credit-hour mini course with regular tuition fees charged to MyRed, or (2) registering for the experience at no charge, but receive no tuition credit. All meals provided at no cost.

At the end of the challenge, you and your team will present your business and the progress you made to a panel of judges. Prizes are distributed to the top three teams.
