Faculty submitting openings for graduate students

Archived Story: This article is part of our newsletter archives. It has been preserved for reference, but the information may no longer be current.

Faculty looking to fill their graduate student openings have a few options for advertising those positions. This article examines two of those options. If you need more information, contact your department chair or Kayla Person, director of engineering graduate programs.

  • There is a repository on the College of Engineering website to advertise the openings. It can be found at https://engineering.unl.edu/graduate-programs/research-opportunities/

  • Another way to submit openings is at https://engineering.unl.edu/graduate-programs/ - in the "About" drop down, click “Faculty Resources,” log in with UNL credentials, and click the first option “Submit a position opening.” This can be used for both graduate and undergraduate research positions. There is a link to a webform that goes directly to Matt Honke, COE Web Specialist, and he can update/add appropriately.
