Denver Schmadeke, a College of Engineering faculty member, industrial engineering alumnus, and assistant chief of the Omaha Fire Department, died Dec. 26, 2020. He was 71. Schmadeke taught and administered the Fire Protection Technology program, which later became part of the College of Engineering. More details at: https://go.unl.edu/dj65
