All university employees are now invited to receive a COVID-19 vaccination from the Lincoln-Lancaster County Health Department. If you wish to receive a vaccination and haven’t received a specific invitation from the Health Department (and/or didn’t register earlier through the vaccine registry), please send an email to covid19@unl.edu by noon on Wednesday, March 17. Your message should include your name, date of birth and email address. You will receive a link to complete your vaccine registry.
Any employee who lives or works in Lancaster County — including all faculty, instructors, teaching assistants, staff and student workers — are eligible to be vaccinated through Phase 1B in the state’s COVID-19 vaccination plan.
Greater vaccine availability has increased the pace of the Lincoln-Lancaster County Health Department’s COVID-19 vaccination clinics. University employees who do not register for vaccination through Phase 1B availability will likely have to wait until a vaccine is offered based on ages in Phase 2A (ages 50 to 64) and Phase 2B (ages 16 to 49).
Please contact covid19@unl.edu with any questions.
