The College of Engineering is offering summer shuttle service between Lincoln and Omaha through Aug. 12 with an adjusted schedule. Covid-19 precautions implemented in Spring 2021 are continuing for the N-E Ride at this time, including ridership at half-capacity and required face coverings.

Two buses run during the day in a condensed schedule between Othmer Hall, PKI and UNMC:

  • Leaving Othmer (Lincoln): 7:30 a.m., 1:30 p.m., 3:30 p.m., 5:30 p.m.
  • Leaving PKI (Omaha): 7:30 a.m., 1:30 p.m., 3:30 p.m., 5:30 p.m.

To streamline access to the shuttles, riders can use the TripShot reservation app to book chosen times and locations. The app also provides real-time tracking of the shuttles, with riders receiving push notifications and alerts about shuttle arrivals and any delays. Using the app is not required to ride the college shuttles.

Download the phone app from iOS or Android. Any University of Nebraska email domain can be used to sign up; the "service name" to begin the process is "UNL".
