The College of Engineering Staff Council is sponsoring a holiday-season drive for the Husker Pantry and the Maverick Student Pantry. These pantries provide food and essential items for our students in need.

Staff and faculty are welcomed to place donations in the black collection bins around the college or to donate using the other methods listed on the Husker Pantry website – https://pantry.unl.edu – and the Maverick Food Pantry website – https://www.unomaha.edu/maverick-food-pantry/donate/index.php – such as purchasing from their online wish lists or making monetary donations through the University of Nebraska Foundation. The webpages also include lists of the items they regularly stock as well as the most needed items.

There are Husker Pantry collection bins in four City Campus buildings: Othmer Hall, to the east of the Dean’s office; Nebraska Hall, on the third floor; Avery Hall, by the first-floor exit door 105; and Whittier Hall, on the first floor near the main entrance. The location of other bins on the City, East, and Innovation Campuses are listed on the website. In Omaha, items can be dropped off at the food pantry in 106 Community Engagement Center (CEC).
