Volunteers needed to help with Dec. 16 UNO Commencement; Deadline is Saturday

Dear Scott Campus Friends,

It’s that time of year again when we are going to wish our graduating seniors and graduate students bon voyage. To make things run smoothly, many volunteers are needed. There are several opportunities to help our graduating students and you can sign up for one or more of these by Dec. 10 at https://www.signupgenius.com/go/10c0d4ba4a628a0fcc16-unodecember

Additionally, we need captains for different areas. If you are a Commencement veteran and would like to help guide volunteers, there are captain spots available and I know Abbey would be delighted for your expertise! Let Abbey Henrichs (ahenrichs@unomaha.edu) know if you are interested in a captain position.

Engineering will be graduating during the 9 a.m. ceremony. You are welcome to volunteer for one or both of the ceremonies that day (the second ceremony starts at 2 p.m.).

I truly appreciate all of those who have volunteered in the past and those who will be present on Dec. 16 to witness the life-changing transition our students will be making.

Warmest regards,
Lori Straatmann,
Director of Enrollment Operations, College of Engineering
