Nominations for the college's annual faculty and staff awards must be submitted online at the link below by Wednesday, March 1 at 5 p.m.
A few updates have been implemented for the awards this year:
- In response to the College Climate Survey, the College Staff Awards will now celebrate staff for exemplary performance in six categories: leadership, service to students, service to faculty and staff, engagement, Complete Engineer®, and outstanding performance. Each recipient will receive $2,500.
- A new award, the College of Engineering Faculty Engagement Award, will recognize up to two faculty members who have demonstrated outstanding accomplishments in "engagement in research, teaching and/or service” related to work with an external partner. Each recipient will receive $2,500.
There is no limit to the number of awards for which an individual may be nominated, but there must be a separate nomination that explicitly addresses the criteria for each award. The criteria for each award and additional information may be found on the website.
- Wednesday, March 1 (5 p.m.): Deadline for completing online nomination forms.
- Monday, March 27: Award recipients and their nominators notified of results.
- Friday, April 7: College of Engineering Awards Luncheon.
- May 2022: Awards processed by payroll.
SAVE THE DATE: All College of Engineering faculty and staff are invited to attend the College of Engineering Awards Luncheon from 11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m., Friday, April 7, in Red Cloud A at the Willa Cather Dining Center on City Campus.
