Srisa-an named School of Computing director

Witawas (Witty) Srisa-an, professor in the School of Computing, has been appointed as director of the school. He replaces founding director Marilyn Wolf, now director for engineering and technology initiatives in the Office of Research and Economic Development.

Annual Nebraska Engineering Tailgate set for Saturday - 11:30 a.m.-2:30 p.m.

Cambridge Structural Database subscription

UNL libraries is considering not renewing the Cambridge Structural Database subscription based on low/no usage to reduce operating costs. Contact Forrest Kievit (fkievit2@unl.edu) before 9/22 if this database is crucial for your teaching or research so the libraries can make an informed decision.

Website CMS upgrade and engineering webpages

The university is beginning to upgrade the web content management system (CMS) to the newest generation of Drupal. This upgrade will also occur within the engineering.unl.edu domain. Read more concerning how this will impact the 8,000+ pages currently on the site. Continue reading…
