Eric Markvicka has earned a CAREER award from the National Science Foundation to advance his work with room-temperature, non-toxic liquid metals that would produce new materials that could propel the fields of soft robotics and stretchable electronics.
Carrick Detweiler, professor in the School of Computing and co-director of NIMBUS Lab, will present “Unmanned Aircraft Systems and Aerial Robots” in the ECE Graduate Student Seminar May 9 at 3 p.m. in SEC C271 (City Campus) and PKI 250 (Scott Campus).
The Area A parking lot just south of Vine & 17th Streets will not be available to permit holders May 15-17 as it is reserved for residence hall move-out. The lot east of Sandoz Hall will be closed May 16-17. Valid A permit holders may park on top level of the 19th & Vine Streets garage.
