The College of Engineering Senior Design Showcase, Nebraska’s premier undergraduate engineering student design event, and the annual Senior Recognition Reception for all Nebraska Engineering graduating seniors will be held Friday, May 3 in Kiewit Hall, 1700 Vine Street.
The Senior Design Showcase will run 1-3:30 p.m. in the lower level of Kiewit Hall. This event highlights new and innovative projects from more than 30 teams of graduating seniors from across the college. Their projects reflect real-world professional challenges, environments and, in some cases, collaborations with industry clients to develop products and devices that could have immediate impact.

The College of Engineering invites all undergraduate seniors and graduate students who are graduating in May or August 2024 to an informal Senior Recognition Reception immediately after the May 3 Senior Design Showcase. The School of Computing Senior Design Showcase will showcase its seniors' capstone projects Thursday, May 9 from 1-4:30 p.m. in the Nebraska Union Ballroom (second level), 1500 R Street on City Campus. Stop by to talk to the students and learn more about their projects. In addition, students will be giving prepared presentations on their projects in breakout rooms. The event is open to the public.
