John McCarthy of Washington University will discuss an approach to defining a random d-tuple of commuting matrices in “Random Computing Matrices” on Thursday, June 6 at 9 a.m. in 115 Avery Hall. The lecture, part of the Great Plains Operator Theory Symposium, is open to the public.
