NUtech Ventures offers virtual entrepreneurship training program

Could your idea eventually become a product or a service?

Are you interested in bringing new perspectives to your research program?

Do you want to consider starting a business?

Join NUtech Ventures for Nebraska I-Corps: Introduction to Customer Discovery
(IC), a free entrepreneurship training program that is held virtually on Zoom from 4-6:30 p.m. on four upcoming Mondays – Sept. 16 and 23, and Oct. 7 and 28.

The content of this workshop series is based on the Lean Launchpad methodology – learning about value proposition design, customer segmentation, and how to map a stakeholder ecosystem. Participants will also take part in customer discovery interviews – talking to stakeholders about their pains/problems, to find out if your innovation/idea is a fit for a solution.

Some of the other benefits of participating in this program include:

  • Honing presentation skills and developing entrepreneurial mindsets
  • Gaining an understanding of how industry works
  • Increasing personal and professional networks, including time with mentors
  • Practicing giving and receiving feedback

The program is open to all UNL + UNK faculty, postdocs, students, and staff. Community members are also welcome to apply online at the link below.
