Dear Colleagues,
The College of Engineering Lunch & Learn series brings faculty and staff together over lunch to explore topics that support our students and community. Our next session, Navigating Gen Z Talent, will be presented by Celeste Spier, Director of Organizational Development at UNL Human Resources.
In this session, Celeste will discuss how Gen Z, as the newest generation entering the workforce, brings fresh perspectives, digital fluency, and distinct expectations. She will share insights on understanding their values and motivations and on adapting recruitment strategies and workplace environments to better attract, retain, and support Gen Z employees.
This event will be held in a hybrid format (City Campus and Scott Campus) and will also be available via Zoom. You are welcome to join us with your own lunch or via Zoom.
• Time: Friday, March 27, noon-1 p.m.
• In-person locations: In-person locations: KH A505AA (City Campus) and PKI 100A (Scott Campus)
• Zoom: https://unl.zoom.us/j/93277251336?from=addon
We hope to see many of you on Friday, March 27. This will be the last Lunch & Learn event of the semester. The Council on Community will propose new sessions for the next academic year.
Please send me a note if there are topics you would like to suggest to the Council.
Thanks,
Yusong Li
Associate Dean for Faculty
