Engineering enrollment keeps growing

For the 11th straight year, the college has set a record for undergraduate enrollment, helping push the university as a whole to its third straight year of record enrollment.

Highlights include:
* 3,614 undergraduate and graduate students

* 654 freshmen -- the second-highest enrollment for the college and a slight increase over last year

* 3,117 undergraduate students in the college -- Software Engineering (+59) and Electrical Engineering-Scott Campus (+45) lead the increase

* 497 total graduate students, including 306 doctoral students (+3.7%)

* 51 Master of Engineering Management students (+21)

* Increases in female students, Hispanic students, international students and students from other states

* Including the College of Engineering, CSE, BSE and pre-engineering, total enrollment is 4,394 students
