ESS is seeking student tutors for Engineering Study Stop.

Engineering Student Services is asking faculty and staff to recommend qualified candidates – especially those with strong knowledge in math, physics and chemistry - to serve as peer tutors for the Spring 2019 term, working in the Engineering Study Stops.

Information provided to engineering students:
We are seeking qualified candidates to serve as peer tutors for the Spring 2019 term.

If you, or someone you know, would be interested in joining the Engineering Student Services team as an Engineering Study Stop Learning Consultant (tutor) we are now accepting applications online! Tutors can expect to work between 3-6 hours per week at a rate of $10.00/hour. We are looking for students who have strong knowledge in Math, Physics and Chemistry.

We are also seeking students well versed in engineering topics such as Statics, Dynamics, Elastic Bodies and Thermodynamics. Study Stop hours for Spring 2019 will be Monday-Thursday, 7:00 – 10:00PM in the Engineering Library’s Olsson Room.

We hope you all consider utilizing Study Stop at some point as it is a great resource to develop a better understanding of your course material and provides a great opportunity to ask questions!
