The University of Nebraska-Lincoln recently celebrated its 150th anniversary as the state’s land-grant university. Concurrent with this monumental milestone in our history, the Nebraska Commission of 150 was formed to help chart the university’s future, including revising the mission and values statements and developing overarching strategic goals.
As part of this effort, colleges have been charged with crafting and implementing their own strategic plans. To this end, the College of Engineering has retained Academic Leadership Associates (ALA - http://www.academicla.net/), who is guiding us through our planning process and helping complete a comprehensive strategic plan. Your involvement in this important and transformative process is essential to achieving strategic goals laid out by Dean Pérez and the N150 Commission.
You are invited to participate in two engagement sessions for COE Staff -- March 6 from 10:15-11:15 a.m. in PKI 158 (Scott Campus), and April 3 on City Campus at a time and location to be determined. Your involvement in this important and transformative process is essential to achieving strategic goals laid out by Dean Pérez and the N150 Commission.
Contact Ashley West – (402) 472-3181 or awest9@unl.edu – or go to the webpage – https://engineering.unl.edu/strategic-planning/ – if you have any questions about the sessions or to RSVP for the session on April 3. This webpage provides information on the college’s strategic planning effort. It will be regularly updated throughout the process.
