The 2019 Missouri Iowa Nebraska Kansas Women In Computing (MINK WIC) conference registration date is quickly approaching (Friday, October 18).

What is MINK WIC?

The Missouri Iowa Nebraska Kansas (MINK) Women in Computing (WIC) Conference (MINK WIC) is patterned after the Grace Hopper Celebration of Women in Computing (GHC) and Regional Celebrations of Women in Computing conferences advanced by ACM-W, ACM’s Council on advancing issues pertaining to women in computing. The MINK WIC goal is to provide a low-cost, regionally tailored, small conference for women in computing who do not have funding to attend major conferences. The event provides a venue for future computing professionals to gain confidence in their presentation skills, network with each other, and learn from professional women in the computing field. Student participants will prepare and present posters, lightning talks, and papers. Distinguished speakers and industry panels will address the students and their faculty on meaningful computing topics for women.
