Meet Computer Science and Engineering lecturer, Tony Arslan! 

Arslan is currently teaching CSCE 120: Learning to Code. His areas of expertise include software development, web and mobile application development, human-computer interaction, and software architecture.

Arslan has 20 years of experience in various industry positions. Prior to joining CSE, he developed web, mobile and desktop applications for financial, pharmaceutical, and publishing companies. He also worked as a chemical engineer and a research engineer for pharmaceutical companies. Arslan said one of his favorite things about CSE is passing his knowledge along to others.

“I enjoy sharing my experience with the students and watching them learn the skills that will help them be successful,” Arslan said.

When he is not writing software, he enjoys playing soccer, traveling, and spending time with his family.
