Apply to be a member of the 116th class of The Innocents Society!

The Innocents Society is the Chancellor's Senior Honorary at the University of Nebraska–Lincoln, serving both the campus and the community. Its three pillars are superior academic achievement, unparalleled leadership, and selfless service. The Innocents Society was founded on April 24th, 1903, is the oldest organization on Nebraska's campus.

Freshmen and Sophomores:
The Drvol Family Innocents Society/Mortar Board Scholarship is awarded each year to a currently enrolled, full-time sophomore who displays academic excellence, leadership qualities, and a dedication to service. The recipient of the scholarship is someone who is actively involved in the mentoring of others.

The Innocents Society, James S. Pittenger, and Irvin Sherman Memorial Innocents Society Scholarships are awarded each year to currently-enrolled, full-time, first-year students displaying academic excellence, leadership qualities, and involvement in co-curricular activities.

Applications are available on November 20, 2019 at midnight and are due on January 17, 2020 at 4 p.m. They can be accessed on our website at http://innocents.unl.edu/apply
