Greetings Students,

We hope you are well and navigating this chaotic time. We want to update you on advising availability and remind you we are here to help.

We will continue to advise students through email and online methods. We cannot accept walk-in appointments and will limit or eliminate in-person meetings at this time as we navigate this situation so that we may all stay safe and well.

Instructions for advising appointments:
We will continue to use MyPlan for scheduling purposes. Once those appointments are set you will receive a confirmation email (to your Huskers email account).

If you are using Zoom, please sign-in to Zoom a few minutes before the start of your appointment.

Our goal is to continue to serve your advising needs. This will be a time of uncertainty, but we intend to work with you to ensure the best possible advising plan for the summer and fall schedules.

MyPlan Instructions:
1. Go to my.unl.edu
2. Click on MyPlan
3. Once logged into MyPlan click the three-dash line menu button in the top left corner and Choose My Success Network
4. All CSE students should use MyPlan to schedule appointments. The Advisors will have instructions in MyPlan with regard to meeting times and locations
a. Computer Science students you will see both Ann Koopman’s and Jarrett Ramsey’s availability
b. Software Engineering students Dr. Suzette Person is taking appointments via MyPlan as well.
c. Computer Engineering students will schedule through MyPlan and ESS student services.
d. If you are unsure about advising feel free to reach out to Ann or Jarrett.

Priority registration has been extended. It begins April 6 and ends April 21. Your individual student enrollment appointment (the time you may begin registering) in MyRED will be reassigned. Check MyRED during spring break to find your new appointment time.

The Pass/No Pass deadline has also been extended until April 24. Be sure to talk with your professor before making the switch, since it may be more beneficial to be graded in the course under current circumstances.
