Sovereign Sportsman Solutions (s3gov.com) is a high-growth technology organization providing automation and efficiencies to state government outdoor conservation and recreation agencies in licensing, permitting, registrations, marketing and related system components. The Technology department focuses on developing, testing, reporting, troubleshooting, configurating, monitoring and debugging our software products, and this role is an integral part of the process. Our Software Developers architect and implement technology solutions as web, mobile and hybrid architectures, following agile methodologies and working closely with clients and the rest of the team.

Job Description:
We are seeking an ambitious UI Engineer Intern (preferably based around Hastings or Lincoln, NE) to work on our suite of projects for State Government clients. The internship is for 12 weeks with the possibility of an extension. Ideal start this summer (or earlier). Wage based on experience.

Some of the specific duties of the role are as follows:
1. Be a member of and participate in the S3 technology organization
2. Work with the UI team to build high quality interfaces
3. Champion best practice standards for web and apps
4. Design wireframes and prototypes for responsive websites and apps
5. Code HTML/CSS (SCSS), Javascript, jQuery, Vue
6. Code templates for marketing landing pages and emails

Qualifications:
Required skillset:
- HTML/CSS
- Javascript / jQuery / Libraries
- Bootstrap Framework
- Familiar with Adobe Creative Suite
- Familiar with UI/UX Standards
- C# .NET experience is a plus
- An eye for good design
- Strong interpersonal skills
- A self-starter who succeeds by researching solutions and solving problems
- A willingness to learn and not be afraid to ask questions
- A love for the outdoors and outdoor activities
