Want to learn more about eye tracking for usability and software engineering? Want to incorporate eye tracking as part of a game you are working on? Take this eye tracking course in fall 2022 that focuses on developing a hands-on eye tracking pilot study to assess methods, tools, or even a game.

Studies in the area of usability, software engineering, readability, emotional awareness, and gaming are all acceptable projects. The course focuses on state-of-the-art literature on eye tracking and guest lectures on timely eye tracking topics including VR and eye tracking. Students will get access to work with the latest eye tracking equipment such as the research grade Tobii trackers, Pupil Labs trackers, Adhawk trackers, as well as the Hololens 2 for VR eye tracking. Individual study and research projects are also possible as part of the semester long project.

The course is taught by Dr. Bonita Sharif on Tuesdays and Thursdays in Fall 2022 from 12:30–1:45 and is listed under CSCE-492-002 (undergraduate) and CSCE-892-002 (graduate). Register now.
