The IDEAL Insitute for Data, Econometrics, Algorithms, and Learning is hosting a 3-day Get Ready for Research Workshop for undergraduates this spring, June 2-4, 2023 in Chicago at the University of Illinois Chicago.
The workshop is an introduction to undergraduate research, intended to inform and prepare undergraduate students who have not yet participated in research to get involved in undergraduate research (in math, CS, stats, and EE) and to apply for and thrive in REU (Research Experiences for Undergraduates) programs in future years. This workshop is free to participate in and students' travel costs will be covered by IDEAL.
