Are you interested in number crunching, high-speed transfers or large-scale storage? Register now to attend different sessions at the Holland Computing Center (HCC)'s Hybrid Fall Kickstart event on Sept. 21 from 8:30 AM to 5 PM CDT in-person at the East Campus Union and virtually via Zoom. This workshop series will feature hands-on experience on how to access and use HCC's powerful computing resources to scale up your own research.

Topics to include:
• New and exciting updates at HCC
• How to connect to and use HCC's computer clusters, freeing up your workstation or laptop for more immediate tasks
• Transferring data at high speed via a simple web interface
• Open OnDemand — "one-stop" access to Swan through an interactive, web-based portal
• Good practices when using shared HPC resources

Participants will need to sign up for an HCC account and sign in with their HCC account to access the registration page.

Registration is free but limited.

• 1:15–2:40 PM — Introduction to Data Storage and Transfer on HCC
• 2:50–3:20 PM — Using Software on HCC Resources
• 3:20–4:00 PM — Running and Submitting Jobs on HCC
• 4–4:30 PM — Introduction to Good Practices in HPC
• 4–5 PM — Open Questions
