Drone Amplified has advanced to the final four in the "Coolest Thing Made in Nebraska" contest!

The NE Manufacturing Alliance's Coolest Thing Made In Nebraska ​competition highlights Nebraska's manufacturing industry. The diversity and quality of the products nominated are a testament to the dedication and work ethic of Nebraska's manufacturing industry.

Drone Amplified is a drone technology company launched by faculty and students out of the University of Nebraska–Lincoln's School of Computing. Drone Amplified pioneered the unmanned aerial system (UAS) fire ignition industry with its breakthrough technology for the fire management community, IGNIS. IGNIS stands at the forefront of innovation in wildfire fighting with a game-changing, drone-based system that empowers wildland firefighters to execute aerial prescribed fire operations while maintaining their safety on the ground. IGNIS is lower cost, removes personnel from risk, and can cover 1600 acres in a day.
