Are you considering a minor in Computer Science? Have you taken CSCE 155? Consider enrolling in CSCE 311: Data Structures and Algorithms for Informatics!

The course will offer foundational coverage of algorithms includes both problems (such as indexing, searching, sorting, and pattern matching) and methods (such as greedy, divide-and-conquer, and dynamic programming). Foundational coverage of data structures includes lists, tables, and relational databases, regular expressions, trees, graphs, and multidimensional arrays. The topics will be studied in the context of informatics applications.

The course will be taught by Dr. Reichenbach and will be full of information that will help you as you transition to the working world.
