Position Overview: Join our team as a Software Engineering Intern at Ethos Connected. In this role, you’ll assist in developing and enhancing software systems for our remote monitoring devices. You’ll work closely with our engineering team to support projects from development to testing and deployment, contributing to both backend and frontend systems.
Key Responsibilities:
• Software Development Support:
Assist in developing and maintaining software tools and systems using JavaScript, TypeScript, and Java.
• Cloud & Infrastructure:
Gain exposure to AWS-based infrastructure; assist with tasks related to deployment, testing, and configuration (experience with AWS is a bonus).
• Testing & Troubleshooting:
Support the team in identifying bugs, performing code reviews, and writing test cases to ensure software quality and reliability.
• Team Collaboration:
Collaborate with cross-functional teams including hardware and firmware engineers to ensure seamless system integration.
• Documentation:
Maintain clear technical documentation for new features and system updates.
Qualifications:
• Currently pursuing a degree in Computer Science or Computer Engineering (Sophomore level or above).
• Understanding of JavaScript, TypeScript, and Java.
• Experience with AWS is a bonus.
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Strong communication and teamwork abilities.
• Strong desire and curiosity to learn.
Compensation: $18/hr
