High school students interested in computing are invited to attend the Jeffrey S. Raikes School of Computer Science and Management's annual summer camp.
Innovate: The Raikes School Way is designed to provide students with a foundation in core programming concepts and is ideal for students with little to no computing experience. Additionally, there is separate curriculum and instruction for students with moderate or advanced experience as they aim to expand their computing skills. Students who expect to enter college in the fall of 2027 will be given priority based on total applications. Students who expect to enter college in the fall of 2028 will also be considered if they have completed pre-calculus prior to the start of camp.
During the two-week, overnight camp students will:
• Develop core programming skills and learn innovation concepts through a project-oriented curriculum
• Receive instruction from Raikes School faculty members and experience what classes can be like in the Raikes School
• Visit campus research labs and local employer partners
• Interact with Raikes School students and staff, all of whom play a key role in the competitive selection process to the program each year
Priority Application Deadline: April 1, 2026 — Students who submit their application by this priority date will be notified of admission and scholarship decisions by April 13, 2026.
Final Application Deadline: May 1, 2026 — Applications will be accepted on a rolling basis after May 1 as space is available.
Applications can be submitted here: https://form.jotform.com/260254422062143.
