The 2013 UNL Spring Research Fair will take place Wednesday, April 10, through Thursday, April 11 in the Nebraska Union. The event will showcase undergraduate and graduate student research and creative accomplishments at UNL. This year will highlight interdisciplinary research work on campus.
The Office of Research and Economic Development, in collaboration with the Office of Graduate Studies, is sponsoring a Graduate Research Forum and a Graduate Poster Session on Wednesday, April 10. The Forum is scheduled from 1 - 3 p.m. and the Graduate Poster Fair will follow immediately, from 3 - 5 p.m., in the City Campus Union.
Both the Research Forum and Poster Session presentations will be organized around three broad themes: Sustenance, Safety & Community; Scale, Measurement & Balance; Energy, Transportation, & Technology.
The annual Graduate Poster Session will follow the research presentations.
The Undergraduate Research Fair kicks off Wednesday evening with the Undergraduate Workshop “Planning and Preparing for Graduate School.” The Undergraduate Research Conference and Poster Session will be held on April 11 from 3 - 5 p.m.
Students must register to participate in the Graduate Research Forum, the Graduate Poster Session and the Undergraduate Research Conference by March 27.
