Consider competing in upcoming programming contests. The programing contest is a collegiate contest that goes up to an international level of competition. UNL has had teams qualify for the international contest eight times since 1999.

The international level is held at various places around the world. This year the contest takes place in Yekaterinburg, Russia.

There will be weekly practices from now until November 9th (see below for days and times.) At these practices, the group will be looking at various problems, ways to solve them, working on understanding data structures and approaches to programing problems. Pizza may be provided on occasion.

Practices: Weekly on Wednesday and Thursday evenings from 6:30-8:30. Wednesday and Thursday of the same week will be basically the same presentation.

Local Contest: September 29th

Regional Contest: November 9th
