Responsibilities of NSE Orientation Leaders include:
-Develop an expertise in new student transition issues and college success strategies.
-Develop a complete information base about UNL services and programs, as well as effectively relate this knowledge to others.
-Understand MyRED and effectively teach new students how to use it.
-Facilitate discussions for large groups of students and parents while walking on campus.
-Attend all training sessions.
-Participate in various programs: Summer NSE, Transfer NSE, Mid Year Orientation, International Student Orientation, Big Red Welcome and Mid Semester Check.
Time Commitment:
-Training sessions each week beginning January 14, 2014: Tuesday 7-10 p.m.
-Team-building Retreat: Friday January 17, 2014, 4 p.m.-11p.m.
