Just because you’re staying in Lincoln doesn’t mean you can’t have a fun or productive spring break.

Apply for jobs or internships. Summer is approaching quickly and will be here before you know it. Check out Husker Hire Link, InternNE for opportunities, and the CSE jobs page.

Take time to appreciate the arts. There are many art museums in Lincoln like the Sheldon right on campus, or the Great Plains Art Museum located downtown. Other museums are great, too. Check out the new Titanoboa exhibit at Morrill Hall.

Read or catch up on video games. Enjoy the beautiful weather and the quiet campus while you relax. The library will be quiet if you want to get a jump start on studying for finals.

Check out a new restaurant or coffee shop in Lincoln. Tons of new dining options have opened up in the Haymarket and Rail Yard. Take some time to check them out while they aren’t super busy.

Spend a day in Omaha. Go to the zoo, the Durham Museum or walk around the Old Market.

Get started on learning a new programming language.

Register for summer courses. The break will provide you with time to look into course material and find out if it would be something of interest to you.
