Gallup is looking for Software Developer Interns to work at their Omaha, Nebraska office. As a Software Developer Intern, you will be able to apply coursework concepts to real-world situations working alongside top-notch, engaging colleagues while also gaining valuable experience working for a global leader in strategy, technology, and consulting. Interns work a minimum of 15 to 20 hours per week during the school year and as many as 40 hours per week during the summer. The work schedule is flexible to accommodate your busy class schedule. Qualifications:
• a college junior, senior, or graduate student working toward a degree in computer science, MIS, engineering, math, or any quantitative field with information technology-related experience in programming or computer hardware
• classroom experience coding in any one of the following: Java, UX/UI, .Net, CSS, PHP, Java Script, HTML, database development (Oracle, MS SQL, or MySQL), or Mobile (iOS or Android) desired
• object-oriented design (OOD) skills or SQL programming skills desired
• programming analysis and design skills
• excellent verbal and written communication skills and analytical and interpersonal skills desired
