The University of Nebraska-Lincoln seeks an Application Support Specialist to be a member of the team responsible for supporting campus-wide retention and student success initiatives. The Application Support Specialist will identify data needs, gather system requirements, develop data and reporting specifications, program/write data extractions, and manage the push of extracted data to appropriate systems and applications. In addition, the Application Support Specialist will test new data loads, troubleshoot issues, and develop reporting processes.
Minimum Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in computer science or related field pus 2 years of experience with information systems, computer architecture or operating systems required; equivalent education/experience considered. Must have experience working with data analysis, query writing or reporting languages. Experience with project management necessary. Excellent written and verbal communication skills essential.
