GC Image, LLC, is beginning development of an exciting new software product for mass spectrometry imaging (MSI) and has immediate openings for talented software developers at our offices located in the heart of the dynamic Haymarket District in Lincoln, Nebraska.
GC Image is a global leader in software for multidimensional chromatography and mass spectrometry. Our scientific software has advanced tools for multidimensional, multispectral data visualization, processing, analysis, and informatics. We have customers in countries throughout Europe, North and South America, East and Southeast Asia, Australia and New Zealand, South Asia, the Gulf States, and Africa.
The core of our work is innovative research and development. GC Image currently is funded by the National Science Foundation to develop innovative informatics for pattern recognition with biological samples and discovering biomarkers indicative of health and disease states.
Applicants should have a expertise in object-oriented programming (OOP) and software development. A background that includes Java, GUI development, image processing, computer graphics, and/or chemistry is a plus, but is not required.
