Firespring and Nelnet will host a State of the Practice event on Thursday, March 16 to share more about their companies and open jobs with students.
Prosper Lincoln is sponsoring a new series of "State of the Practice" events that will give Computer Science and Engineering students a chance to become better acquianted with the companies that presented at the Reverse Pitch event. The nine featured organizations will host similar, but smaller events as groups of two or three at new locations throughout the spring semester.
This State of the Practice event will be hosted at the Firespring office on Thursday, March 16. Students will arrive at 7 p.m. and take a quick tour of the office space. Following the tour, employees will share a bit about their roles and work, and students will have a chance to ask more specific questions about the company and jobs. There will also be plenty of pizza to enjoy!
Transportation will be provided for this event.
This event is free, but due to space and occupancy limits, we require that attendees RSVP by getting a ticket before 5 p.m. on Tuesday, March 14. Click "Get Tickets" in the Facebook event to reserve your spot.
