The University of Nebraska is excited to introduce Primarily Math 2.0, a redesigned Professional Learning Academy tailored for K-3 teachers who want to deepen their expertise in early elementary mathematics. This flexible program helps educators strengthen both mathematical and pedagogical knowledge, ultimately enhancing student learning.

Program highlights

  • Schedule:
    • Summer 2026: Two intensive math courses meeting all day, M-F June 1-5 and 8-12
    • Fall 2026: One 15-week course (meeting weekly) focused on problem-solving and fractions (Fall registration will take place at a later date.)
  • Locations:
    • Fremont (ESU 2)
    • North Platte (ESU 16)
    • Scottsbluff (ESU 13)

  • Costs: Estimated summer costs can vary by location and start at $300 for non-credit participants meeting at ESU 2 or ESU 16. Graduate credit options are available.
