Change is in the air! A new calendar year and a new semester always lend themselves to a sense of renewal. Or sometimes they lend themselves to a wrenchingly bleak self-examination fueling a desperate last ditch attempt to overcome an inherently flawed past with naive "resolutions" destined to be abandoned in abject futility. Yes, I did step on the scale recently, and no, I do not want to talk about it. But hey, we're trying to stay positive here, right? Besides, I'm surrounded by the world's best cheese and ice cream all day. My girth is just an approbation of the goodness of our products. I am the Dionysus of Dairy. My belly has its own endorsement contract with the Dairy Store.
We're not going to let the cat out of the bag yet, but we hope that the changes we have planned for 2012 will be apparent to you in every aspect of your experience when you visit the Dairy Store and the Dairy Plant. In the coming months, we will spend a little more time talking about each of the new changes in more detail, but for now we'd like to tell you about just two of them. We hope you are enjoying the format and design of our newsletter. We've been working hard to make a version more compatible with the variety of email systems out there that you all use, easier to read, enjoy and share with your friends.
Secondly, we are overjoyed to announce that our little Dairy Store family has grown yet again. Our resident Creamery Manager, Cheesemaker and ESB enthusiast Jonathan Hnosko and his wife Melissa are overjoyed to announce the birth of their beautiful daughter, Cora Grace Kathleen, last month. We couldn't be happier for them. I will leave you with a little picture of the little bundle of joy.
This year I "resolve" to get the newsletter to you on a more regular basis. Ah, gotta love the new year.
