This afternoon (9/19), we will meet to discuss the journal article "A National Experiment Reveals Where a Growth Mindset Improves Achievement" by Yeager et al. that was published last month in Nature.
In this national study, the research team examined the effects of a short growth mindset intervention to test the hyposthesis that the intervention would improve grades among lower-achieving students and overall uptake of advanced courses.
To get the most out of the journal discussion, we request that you read through the article prior to our meeting.
