1 in 4 students at UNL are first generation. Learn more about supporting these students in your classroom at the Faculty Symposium on Nov. 10th from 12-3 pm in the Red Cloud Room in the Willa Cather Dining Complex on UNL’s City Campus.
This symposium will feature strategies for supporting first generation students at UNL. It will include a panel of five first-generation students speaking on their UNL experiences, a choice of one of three mini-sessions on 1) pedagogical and instructional strategies; 2) resources and programs, and 3) instructor dashboards on course equity trends, and small group discussion of vignettes focused on first-generation students’ experiences.
