CIRTL@Nebraska Past, Present, and Future
Abstract:
The Center for the Integration of Research, Teaching, and Learning is a network of 41 doctoral-granting institutions with the mission to improve STEM undergraduate education by training future faculty committed to using and promoting evidence-based teaching practices for diverse learners. Teaching-as-Research, Learning Communities, and Learning through Diversity are the core ideas of the network.
Since the University of Nebraska–Lincoln joined CIRTL in 2016, we've provided trainees at UNL preferred access to development activities and events offered by network institutions, contributed to the CIRTL mission, and hosted local learning communities. On 2/22 we'll discuss the accomplishments, activities, and goals of CIRTL@Nebraska.
