Please consider joining us in Spring 2019 for a 1 credit course for graduate and undergraduate students called “Teaching Undergraduate Science.” This discussion-based course will center on foundational knowledge and teaching techniques to prepare you for teaching experiences, or to refine your resume.
The course will meet Tuesdays, 2:30-3:30 in Hardin Hall 162.
Expectations include participating in discussions, leading a discussion on a teaching/learning topic of your choice, an assignment related to student misconceptions within your discipline, and an annotated bibliography (888 students only).
About the instructors: We are ecologists that now conduct education research and teach. We have led and participated in numerous teaching and learning workshops at UNL and around the country.
