Wondering how summer courses work at other schools? Be sure to check with an adviser about transfer equivalency. Most importantly, while UNL may accept the transfer course for your degree requirement(s), the grade you receive will NOT be figured into your UNL GPA. For example, if you are looking to repeat a course you took at UNL and received a low grade in, repeating the same course at another school at a non-NU system school will NOT replace the low grade you have at UNL. It is also a good idea to make sure the course you plan to take will work in your degree program BEFORE you take the course. Obtain the course description and your DGS adviser will work with UNL faculty to review the course to make sure it is a good choice for your degree plan.
