PLTW offers scholarships for first-year students

The College of Engineering is offering competitive merit-based scholarships for current first-year students only (on both City and Scott campuses), who participated in the Project Lead The Way (PLTW) curriculum in high school.

Students who attended a certified PLTW high school and have completed coursework within the PLTW curriculum are encouraged to apply for this scholarship. The scholarships are one-time awards in the amounts of $500 to be applied to the spring 2020 term. Five scholarships will be awarded annually.

Applicants must meet the following scholarship criteria in order to be considered:

· Enrolled as an undergraduate, full-time, first-year student in the University of Nebraska-Lincoln College of Engineering on either the City (Lincoln) or Scott (Omaha) campus.
· Attended a certified PLTW high school
· Completed at least two (2) PLTW full year courses and earned a grade of B (80%) or higher in each
· Earned a 6 or higher on the PLTW course End of Course (EOC) assessment for each course
